On July, 6th, 2008 there was a historical event: at 12:00 in business hotel "Space" the first service of Church of the Christ in the Barrow has taken place.

At the first meeting of church was present more than 60 persons. They are people whom we have invited on city streets and with whom had time to construct relations, relatives of pupils and certainly pupils who have arrived from Ekaterinburg, Ufa, Chelyabinsk and Moscow.

The service has begun with spiritual church chanting, after there was a salutatory word to all gathered in a cosy conference hall of hotel. Two brothers, Denis Timofeev and Vladimir Sorokin, conducted a prayer. During service the missionary command has been presented. But the sermon was the most important part of our meeting. Vyacheslav Mikheyev, the Evangelist from the Moscow Church of the Christ, preached on a theme "Church about which the Bible" speaks. It has been allocated three high lights:

Belief about which the Bible speaks.

Jesus about whom the Bible speaks.

Pupils about whom the Bible speaks.

After the sermon communicating time during which time Olga Timofeeva has told present about the life as it has believed has come and has addressed to God.

In conclusion of meeting there was a small concert which was prepared by pupils from Ekaterinburg.

After end of a spiritual part of all present have invited to a buffet table which has taken place at hotel restaurant. During a buffet table there was a brisk dialogue. Pupils and visitors shared the impressions, thoughts and comments. Here some comments which could be heard:

– All was pleasant, develop further.
– That today I at last have learnt the best parties of Christianity was pleasant.
– Prayers were pleasant.
– Kindness and an openness in actions were pleasant.
– How all of you are opened, positive and friendly was pleasant.
