You Need A Good Corner

In the sport of boxing, each boxer tries to out maneuver their opponent, avoiding blows, surviving the shock, punishment & pain of getting hit, while also trying to deliver a knockout blow of their own. Once the bell rings, it indicates the round is finished, then the boxers go to their CORNER for a few minutes to prepare for the next round before the bell rings again to indicate the start of a new round. We are all in a fight each day, surviving blows, punishment & the pain of life, trying to discover ways to alleviate the persistent assault of our enemies & to win each day, but in order to win you need a GOOD CORNER. Your CORNER is your family, real friends & the special people in your life who help you fight, patch up your wounds, help your recovery, encourage you with sound advice & they won’t let you get hit with too many blows that will cause you long term permanent damage. When I come home bloodied from fighting to make a difference in this world for Christ, I thank God for my CORNER, my family, real friends & the special people that I can go to when I’ve been in a fight with the enemy who tries to hinder my progress, so I go to my CORNER for wise counsel, advice, strategies, encouragement & comfort. If you’re fighting for what’s right & to live your BEST LIFE, when the bell rings to accomplish your GOALS, make sure you have the RIGHT PEOPLE IN YOUR CORNER. – BCJ
